| Bio: |   My name is Narelle aka Rell and i'm from Adelaide, South Australia. I'm married and have a 5 year old son and a 19 month old baby daughter who are my life. My family and my closest friends are my everything. I'm a stay at home mum who loves to draw, read, journal and sometimes cook for fun if the mood strikes me. I'm pretty creative. I like to do crafty stuff when that particular bug bites....which is often at the moment. I've just started needle felting and I love it. I think i've finally found the craft that i'm meant to do. I absolutely love my Nintendo DS and by love..I mean stalker/obsessive type love. I've had it since Christmas 2006 and i'm not exaggerating when I say i've played it just about every single day since. My favorite games change all of the time but i'm a big fan of the "Lost in Blue" series and "Animal Crossing". I'll often make little references to other games i'm playing. I adore singing. Saturday mornings see me cleaning the house with my iPod on. My hubby is thrilled with Saturday mornings. *cough*maybenot*cough* He loves it so much that he now has his own iPod. I'd like to say it's because he wants to join in with me but I think it's more for blocking me out. HAHA! Singing while driving is one of my favorite things to do. Music is important to me. It has the power to change my moods. I'm not really a massive fan of any particular group or artist and tend to just like particular songs for the lyrics and/or beat more than who sings it. I am more than a little partial to Britney Spears and Shania Twain though. :p I spend a fair amount of time working on items for my etsy store http://wisps.etsy.com. The store is reasonably new but i'm already enjoying it and the etsy community a great deal. I sell my needle felt sculptures as well as my "Wisps" which are my own original creation. Take a look at my etsy store if you have a spare moment or two. I guarantee my items will bring a smile to your face. Brace yourself for cute overload! :D Before adding me, you need to know... My journal is mainly filled with whatever happens to be going on with me at the moment. I post anywhere from once a week to 3 or 5 times a week depending on what is going on. I'm not someone who swears/curses at the drop of a hat but I am known to drop the odd word here and there if I feel it's warranted. I don't especially care if you do. In case you missed it...i'm a mum. This means I post about my kids A LOT. If this is going to be a problem for you...don't add me. I love my life but you don't have to. I'm not hugely into posting quizzes/meme's but i'll post one every so often if something grabs my attention or if I can amuse you (or myself..which is quite easy to do) with the answer. LJ CUT ROCKS! :p I'm a commenter so I like people who comment me too. I'm not interested in a "one sided" friendship. I have a beautiful friends list right now and I feel a connection to all of them for one reason or another. I don't expect comments on every single post I make but if I constantly don't hear a word from you for weeks on end, it's likely that i'll lose interest in you and i'll eventually drop you from my friends list. I'll also quit commenting your journal if you constantly don't acknowledge what I say to you in your journal. I'm not going to apologise for this. I've had my journal for 6 years now...I know what makes for good friendships in LJ land. I'm not judgemental of the way people live their lives or bring up their kids, so I don't take to people being judgemental of mine or my parenting. As long as you aren't hurting me, my family or my friends then we will get along just fine. Don't just add me to your friends list and not make any form of communication telling me you've done so. I won't add you back. Random things you need to know about Rell 1. I have a good sense of humour. 2. I'm not into politics. I don't "follow" or talk about religion but I believe in God. 3. The only drama you'll get from me is related to my RL. I won't create or be part of online drama. 4. I'm Australian...so if you are in the USA (or surrounding countries)..I can tell you about the future. HA! 5. I want to go to Disneyland one day. 6. I love my online friends. 7. I'm generous. 8. I'm mildly addicted to notebooks, pens, pencils and paper. 9. I can't bring myself to throw out recipe magazines...JUST IN CASE I need to use a recipe one day. 10. I'm a happy person pretty much all of the time. 11. I'm thankful every single day for the fact that I was blessed with a son and a daughter. 12. I don't know what i'm going to do with my life when it's time to re-enter the workforce. 13. I have a wide variety of ages on my friends list and I get along with them all really well. 14.
